Refuge

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. "And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. "Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. Our students come from many different backgrounds. Some were in prison. Many were separated from their families. Some have college degrees, while others have not completed high school. Many are court-ordered into our program, and some are referred to us through churches and other sources.

All of our students have one thing in common - all have lost hope. We strive to provide hope that a new life can be experienced through Jesus Christ for those who want change.

We have two phases: the induction phase (minimum of four months) and the training phase (minimum of ten months).

Each phase has trained staff on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Participants are trained using various methods:

1. Personal studies
2. Group studies
3. Devotions
4. Chapel services
5. Work details

Upon completion, students are offered the opportunity to continue living on the Ark premises as we assist them in finding employment.
